Countryside Day of Giving gave our team the opportunity to step away from the office, serve our local community, and work together on projects that made a real impact. At Countryside, giving back is something we truly value, and this day reflected that commitment in a hands-on way.
Countryside Day of Giving Supports Our Local Community
On April 8th, we closed our office for our Day of Giving while still keeping services available to take care of our customers. That gave our team the opportunity to spend the day supporting the local community and working together in a different but equally meaningful way. It was a day built around teamwork, service, and a shared purpose.
During the event, we volunteered at a Habitat for Humanity home, where our team helped install stairs, trim, cabinets, countertops, and more. It was an incredible opportunity to be hands-on and make a direct impact while helping move an important project forward for a local family. Working side by side outside of our usual day-to-day roles made the experience even more rewarding.
A Day of Teamwork and Community Impact
After that, we partnered with the FOCP/Backpack Food Program and packed enough food bags to support 500 students in our area. That part of the day was especially meaningful because it allowed us to help local children and families in a practical and immediate way. Seeing how much can be accomplished in a short amount of time reminded us how important it is to stay connected to the community we are proud to serve.
The Countryside Day of Giving was a rewarding experience that reflected the values that matter most to our team. We are grateful for the opportunity to give back, grow stronger together, and support the community in ways that go beyond the work we do every day.
